File size limit Via Broadcasting

Hi,

When i broadcast a report the fille size being 4 MB it is being sucessfully recieved however when the Size increases The broadcast execution shows successfull but the recepient is unable to recieve the file.

There are two possibilities that either the Recipients mailbox's recieveing attachment size limitation causing this issue or there is a limitation on the file size that can be broadcasted.

So what is the maximum size of the file that can be broadcasted? Is there any limitaion on that?

Regards,

Komal

Hi Komal,

there is a limit on max no of data cells (750 000) in workbook which is broadcasted. This is a limit of .NET framework see SAP Note 1921803 - Restrictions in BEx Broadcaster.

If you say that broadcast execution shows successful - have you tried to compress the file of workbook while it is sent out to the user?

cheers

In Addition, this can fail because of some limit in the recipients mail box. I have faced this issue.

Just see if you can reduce the file size by zipping it.

Rgds..
