Quotation approval in portal

Hi,

We're facing an issue while trying to approve the quotations in Portal UWL.

My issue is same as mentioned in an old thread :

But the resolution is not mentioned there.

Please find below the screenshots:

On clicking the task, getting page not found error in the new window.

If somebody has ever encountered this issue, I would like to have your suggestions / resolution steps.

Hi Anurag,

Seems like it's OBN resolving issue which can be caused from wrong configuration.

It's not the same symptoms yet could be the same issue.

Hi Etay,

Thanks for the valuable inputs.

The issue has been resolved after copying the missing iView (Bid Details) present in the iViews folder under Core folder of SAP SRM 7.0 to the following destination folder and adding it to the Strategic Purchaser (EhP2) role:

SAP SRM 7.0--> Ehp2-->iViews-->Role-Specific-->Strategic Purchaser

The first point I would like to highlight is reviewing the documentation included above by Prithviraj.

Regarding this particular scenario and the issue involved "Page Not Found" from a general perspevtive there are a few angles of analysis we can follow.

On the page not found that is mentioned in the current screenshots, right click and go to properties.  Document the URL that is in theproperties section.

Can you also check the parameter on the UWL Iview Path to the UWL Iview according to the documentation below:

Dear Troy,

Thanks for the reply.

I've checked the documentation that you've suggested and the UWL Iview Path is as follows (standard entry) -

portal_content/every_user/general/uwl/

Please note that all other tasks are working as expected and as per my understanding had it been the issue with the path etc, we would have faced the issues with other tasks as well.

If not, please share the trace information during the timeframe of error.

Hi Prithviraj,

Thanks for the reply but as Etay has suggested this is an OBN issue.

We are not using any GP workflows.

Also, the issue is that the Strategic Purchaser is unable to approve the quotations. Everything else is working as expected.
