SAP BPM Inbox

Hi ,

We are using Netweaver 7.4 and Patch 005 version. I created custom attributes and it is showing up in BPM inbox.

But everytime user wants to select the filter and choose the task. Is there anyway to make it as a default view with particular task in BPM inbox.

Any inputs will be helpful for me.

Hi Prabhu,

This is not possible with BPM Inbox.

But you can also use the Inbox control that is available with UI5 to build your own custom Inbox:

Here, there are a set of APIs : (JsDoc Report - SAP UI development Toolkit for HTML5 - API Reference - sap.uiext.inbox.Inbox) that are provided using which you can set pre-defined filters on the Inbox, so that on launch of your application the tasks are filtered based on the required TaskType.

How and why will you put a certain task as default?

The custom actions and attributes pertain to certain tasks only. Not to all.

The filter is a better option than for the user to be confused.
