SLG1 error - SERVICE USER no candidate could be found

Hi all,

we find several errors in SLG1 coming from service user for unregistered candidates:

1 ----> I've checked SU53 and auth issues, and I think everything is ok.

2 ----> If I'm not wrong service user doesn't have to be linked to a Candidate object.

Do you have any suggestion about what can I check it now?

(I put a trace for SERV_USER....and realized that HRP1001 and PA0105 are accessed with SERV_USER, what I find strange...)

THX!

Hi Maria,

Yes, the unregistered service user must not have a candidate object assigned.

These SLG1 errors may refer to wrong SICF services. So that one service or more tries to be called with this user but shouldn't (or the logon procedure in the SICF service is set).

Under IMG step: Technical Settings -> User Interfaces -> Candidate  -> Front-End Candidate -> Specify E-Recruiting services (Web-Dynpro))

the documentation explains how to set it up.

Nicole

Hi Nicole,

I've checked documentation and our logon configuration  was wrong for SERV_USER in a couple of ICF services.

No more errors like that in SLG1 log.

Thank you very much for your always helpful support!

Best Regards,

Maria Jose

Dear Nichole,

our SLG1 errors have been dicreased but stil remain some of them.

I think maybe it comes from wrong SICF configuration in this services:

-hrrcf_a_posting_apply_ext

-hrrcf_a_posting_apply_int

Our settings are:

For hrrcf_a_posting_apply_ext

     Procedure: Standard

     No user defined.

For hrrcf_a_posting_apply_int

     Procedure: Standard

     Service user defined.

Could you confirm if it's wrong?

Thank you!

Hi Maria,

For hrrcf_a_posting_apply_int you don't need the service user assignment. No user must be defined here (just authentification: SAP Standard-User).

Nicole

Hi Marica,

No, according to the IMG documentation it has to be:

logon procedure Standard and

the unregistered service user has to be assigned.

Nicole
