Cannot Set Accounts for this Item Error - Update Price List Via Data Import

Hi,

I tried to update the price list using the Data Import tool but got an error for -

Cannot set accounts for this item; set the Item Level method in the 'Set G/L Accounts By' field [Items - Pref. Qty in Purchase Units]

Would anyone be able to help me in diagnosing this error? Thanks!

Have you checked above SAP note?

Your template looks correct. Can you please disable the 'update accounts' which you can see when you are on screen Import from excel setting and then try?

Hi,

Are you using dtw? You need to use ITM1 and OITM to update the price list.

Can you paste some sample data or attach the file here of the data that you are trying to import?

I am using the Data Import Tool in B1. I went to Admin > Data Import > Data Import > Import From Excel. This was a faster way for me to update the price list. I've tried to use DTW but the template gave me the same error. I've researched the error and seems to relate if the item is used for MRP in which this case it wasnt. So, I am unsure why I would get it.
