HCM_MSS_OADP_1 - Manager Self-Service (MSS) - Performance Optimization with OADP

Hi SAP Experts,

Last year our Senior management reported very slow performance of MSS during Compensation Planning season.

This mighty be happening due to large number of employee reporting to a manager.

Currently our system is on EA-HR 607 SP 23, SAP_HR 604 SP 72.

We found below link for Manager Self-Service (MSS) -  Performance Optimization with OADP

We have decided to go for this approach but trying to understand what impact this brings if we activate business function HCM_MSS_OADP_1.

I was going thru the below documentation but wanted to understand if there are any side effects of this function or anything we need to take care when we activate the function.

Today we activated the Business Function HCM_MSS_OADP_1 but we are not able see the refresh button as explained in SAP documentation.

Has anybody tried this business function? Please help.
