If you have mid-life-crisis then HANA is definitely for you. It is all about command line tools and deep DB knowledge.
I am waiting for APIs. If there are no APIs then there is nothing you can rely on which you nor SAP is going to consistently make available.
The current UIs for the studio give me the impression that the administration APIs will still change and some work is still needed there.
So "watch status" or open development requests is the best HANA strategy, depending on your ramp-up appetite.

I do wonder though what kind of mpg (or would it be lpk in metric?) this moster has. Don't see any solar panels on it, so I'm guessing another caption might as well be "Our marketing message is more important than environment"...
