Hi,
I want to use Analysis for Office on top of HANA source (calculation views) and was wondering what was the best approach for the connection to HANA between the different options:
- OLAP connection defined in the CMC
- JDBC connection to connect
- ODBC local connection
Is there any best practice? Any limitation for one of these options?
Thank you!
Gabriel
Hello Gabriel,
Yes, this is the best approach for the connection to HANA comparing with the described connections. Why? because you connect directly to the data source without any net interference.
You need to choose the connection depending of the situation of your environment.
Thanks,
