Single Work Center use for Multiple Projects

Hi Gurus,

is it possible single work center use in multiple projects for this scenario what type of work center i need to create, what are the impacts..

please suggest.....

Hi Siddu,

Work Centre is nothing but a group of people or machine who does the work. You can use single work centre in a project. In case if you want to report the maintenance cost or activities based on the group of people like Mechanical / Electrical / instrumentation, we use different work centres.

also we have different category of work centres for production / plant maintenance etc.

This is purely based on clients requirement.

Impacts

1. Lack of reporting

2. Lack of splitting the work

3. Different labour Cost based reporting
