How to download free trial of BusinessObjects Enterprise XI R2?

Greetings,

I am very new to SAP technology, and I like to discover this platform make some reporting module using SAP BO/BI.

As I read, it seems that some packages are free download and trial usage for 30 days.

I wonder if the package "BusinessObjects Enterprise XI R2" can be downloaded from any SAP pages.

I already visist the page "SME Free Trials" but it does not include this package.

Please advise on how to download this package?

Just follow, step by step to install and play around the SAP BO.

Hi Sai,

Did you mean that "BusinessObjects Edge Series" is the new version of "BusinessObjects Enterprise XI R2" and so I can download it free and use it as trial for 30 days.

Does this product allow me to connect to MySQL database and create a universe and design reports to be published? If so, then it is the requested one.

Hi Daoud,

The SAP Business Objects XI R2 is already end of life. The current available products are SAP Business Objects XI 3.1 and SAP BI Platform 4.1.

You will need a SAP S-user ID with download rights to download these products from SAP Service Market Place. Then it can be installed using a temporary key which would be valid for 30 days.

I thought this package is still supported. \

Currently I don`t have S-user ID and I want to try the Business Object XI 3.1 trial version. How this can be done?

Please help? is there anyway to get the setup without having that s-user id?

Hi,

I believe you will need a S-user ID to download the product. The best way forward is to contact SAP Global Customer Interaction Center and get further details.
