Please check your /etc/group file and add orasid, sidadm to DBA group and SAPSYS group , also

make sure to have your kernel exe br* files have permission as per sap note

113747 - Owners and authorizations for BR*Tools

Kindly let us know results once completed.

also , you can check permission of files before performing kernel upgrade. not a good attempt to upgrade brtools files...

Hi Irin,

Could you please check once again the archSID.log ownership of the file it should " ORASID:DBA" and give full permission 777. Its clearing showin file permission issue.

Thanks,

Hi,

Is there any logs which showing as error? If yes, please post that.

Btw, after the job completed did you check your oraarch directory ?

Do you still find redolog files sitting there?

Hi Irin,

Kindly check the "/oracle/SID/orrach" directory and check the filesystem have engough space. make sure the filesystem should be 100% and to run the script it should be like 90 to 92%.Delete some old orrach files.

Hi Irin,

Please go-to this directory " "/oracle/SID/saparch" and take the backup of "archSID.log" and pplace it some where and rename this file archSID.log. The new file automatically created, then try to run the script. Even if this not worked. then check the storage TSM is running or not. Please post the commplete log also as well.

Command

ps -ef | grep -i tdp

ps -ef | grep dsm*

Thanks & regards,

Brindavan

Hi Irin Patel,

Please go-to this directory " "/oracle/SID/saparch/archSID.log" and give chmod 775 or 777 to "archSID.log "and also check the ownership of this file should be ORASID:sapsys. Check the brtools as well is working or not.

Thanks,

Brindavan
