difference between ppoma_crm and CRMC_R3_ORG_GENERATE

Hi All,

I am new to CRM master data. Please help me understand difference between ppoma_crm and crmc_r3_org_generate as both of them are used for creating sales org. Hence I am bit confused here as I have a scenario to add 2 new sales org in the existing structure so just need to know which 1 is more effficient.

Hi V Rao,

If you are to create a new sales org in CRM you should use the ppoma_crm transaction to create the assignment manually. For transaction crmc_r3_org_generate, this is used to copy/generate the sales organisation data maintained/created in ERP into the CRM system. For more information on this I would direct you towards note 548202. So if you create the sales org in ERP you can use crmc_r3_org_generate to generate the assignment in CRM or you can create the assignment manually in CRM using ppoma_crm.
