Cannot create target element

Hi Guru's,

I am new to SAP PI/ XI. My scenario is Third party system to SAP ECC.

Sender : SOAP

Receiver : IDOC

Processing mode Asynchronous

When I tried to initiate the data transfer from Third party system, am getting the below error . Also I have checked all the mandatory fields the Idoc structure. its filled.

Please help me out to resolve this issue

Hi Rangakarthick,

Target expecting some value from source system. that value is not available for target structure.

check and execute the source payload in MM.Then, we can figure it out the Mapping conversation issue.

This error looks like it is coming from the root of the Idoc. Can you check your logic there?

Natarajan,

Edit and save your mapping program and do a refresh of Mapping Runtime.

After that do a test into repository with fake data.

Hi Natarajan,,

go to message monitoring or sxmb_moni and get the source payload what is coming. then test your mapping in ESR with the source payload. now you can see where exactly the field is not getting populated.
