Removal of reference plant in OPPQ

Are there any side effects if we remove the attached reference plant in OPPQ

Hello,

Ref plant is used when certain MRP parameters are defined in reference plant(which in turn not exist for planning plant) So You can remove it if does not contain any parameters for MRP that is not available in planning plant. So before removing consider checking these parameter in ref plant.

Using a reference plant means that in MRP, the system uses certain control parameters that are not maintained in the planning plant, but only in the reference plant. This reduces the amount of data to be maintained for the following parameters:

• planning calendar (delivery cycle)
• MRP cycle
• range of coverage profile
• rounding profile
