Unable to see KPI Modeler tiles in Fiori Launchpad

Hi Experts,

We're facing an issue trying to create and deploy SAP Smart Business tiles created within the KPI modeler whereby we can create KPIs, Evaluations and Visualizations successfully but they do not appear within the Fiori Launchpad for the users for which the Evaluations have been associated.

We've done the following:

• Architecture setup – Netweaver 7.4 on HANA DB with Web dispatcher
• KPI Modeler installed to create a custom KPI and evaluation
• Simple HANA view created and exposed to Fiori/KPI Modeler as OData
• Created users with the SAP Role for KPI Framework / Modeler in both Netweaver and HANA
• New KPI/Evaluation/Visualization created
• Assigned Evaluation to users

We have also tried the above steps using one of the predefined/ standard KPIs but to no avail.

Can anyone assist with identifying which step we've missed?

Note:  we appear to have KPI modeler 2014/Q1 Delivery as per the guide: H71_HANA10_BB_ConfigGuide_EN_XX. We'd utilise the Q3 Delivery content if possible but it doesn't seem to be available for download.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi all,

FYI we got around this issue by applying SAP Note 1941054 'No Smart Business tiles in Fiori launchpad'.

Additionally, ensuring we logged into the Fiori Launchpad via the Web Dispatcher server url (as opposed to directly on the Netweaver server) was always necessary to see the KPI tiles.
