Hi All,
How to find whether, a loading is, flat file loading or BW loading in sap bpc ??
In data manager-->view status, I can find the type of loading.
Is there any other way to find the type of loading whether flat file or BW or others ??
Hi,
what is your requirement?

Hello,
If you have a different Audit ID for flat files and BW import as suggested by Vadim,
Then go to RSA1-> Manage on the Model-> Take the Request ID ( 1st column of the monitor grid).->copy it
Goto to the info cube content which is the first tab and select Request ID( SID) and all the remaining ones you need and paste this Request ID that you copied.
It would show you if its a flat file load or BW import
However this procedure will only work if the cube is not compressed ie optimization is not run.
Else the request ID would collapse. data moves from F table to E table. and no request wise data can be viewed.
Thanks
Ed
Hi Vijav,
Yes, package status view is fine, but if you want you can arrange you packages to load data to different AUDITID's depending on source.

Hi,
at RSA1, Based on your data flow also you may find under source system.
Whether it loads from flat file or BW.
even at yourBPC cube--->right click-->manage-->request tab, see there.
But based on DM package(which ran) will give the perfect information.
Thanks

Can't you see any information thru monitor symbol.
Another way:
You need to check table level which stores BPC cube request.
Based on request id you may find source.
Like in bw , we can see table RSBKDTP. like that way you need find the table which stores BPC cube requests id. if you know that table then you can easily see the source name.
