Hi Experts,
Is there any one helps me to solve my problem,
I have a problem with authorization,
My authorization is:
AUTHC *
INFTY 0014
PERSA *
PERSG *
PERSK *
SUBTY 0170
VDSK1 *
And with a query request when I want to extract a data of IT (0014) Sutyp (0170) , a message was appeared "No data was selected",
and when I put SUBTY = * it works.
Best regards.
Hi Benamor
as per my understanding if you are keeping * you are getting but when u select subtype 0170 you are not getting output of report ?
please check your authorisation using tcode su53 and check your structural authorisation
please revert
Regards
Meera

Hi Benamor,
Your reporting period in the Ad Hoc query is set to Today (valid records up to Today)
Did you check if the IT14/subty 0170 record has an 31.12.9999 end date?
Can you also check in infotype 1 of the PERNR of you're trying to report on if he or she have the correct Org Key as specified in your auth object. (0037)
Cheers
Stephen

Hi Benamor,
You're saying when changing the value of the SUBTY field to "*" the query result is ok. Where are you changing this value, in the query or in the role?
Can you let us know if authorization for this user consists solely of IT14-0170 or whether there are other P_ORGIN objects assigned.
Also, please show us how exactly the query is built.
Good luck!

I tried to replicate your issue in order to figure out what could be wrong:
this is my role:
excuse the language, but it should be clear what it means
then I create a similar query:
the only difference being that I use another wage type (looncomponent) then the one in your example.
output:
So I assume something else is going on at your end.
Can you use a trace on the user when executing the query and see what authorization check is stopping the result of the query to be displayed?
