Dear All,
Our client requirements are as follows;
Notice period amount calculation based on dates ( to & from)
Date of Resignation: (Example 01.06 .2014)
Notice Period: 2 Months from the resignation letter date (31.07.2014)
Actual Reliving date: (31.07.2014)
Employee opted date: 30.06.2014
Short fall of Notice Period: 30 Days
Notice period settlement ( through SAP ).
Notice period settlement to be shown in pay slip or f&fs document in case of employee opted for early relieving
I am totally confused about how to start and where to start I mean configuration;

Hi Sumana,
For the date of Resignation you should run pre separation process and maintain the date in date specification against day types.
After date at the time of separation maintain two day type one is actual separation date and another early separation date if he is asked for early relieving.
Now tell me due to this short fall of notice day's are you recovering any amount?
If yes then i will tell you to next procedure.
