Performance issues with 0CLM_INVOICE extractor

Former Member

Hello Guru's,

I am doing an Init load in BW for the Collection Managements extractor 0CLM_INVOICE. This extractor is based on a function module FDM_COLL_INVOICE_BW. It is taking long run times and has terrible performance issues. We are on ECC 6.0 SP 6.

Did anyone of you come across the performance issue with this extractor and what did you do to overcome this? Is there any work around?

Appreciate your input.

Sri.

Hi Ram,

Thanks for the response. All the notes that you mentioned are obsolete as we are on higher support pack. We still face the same issue.

Thanks,

Sri.

Based on your version please search at sap market place.

You may find related note.

For standard data sources we can't change any backend logic to improve the loading performance other than sap notes. so please look at sap market place thru S user id.

if possible thru old notes lets check at sand box  if exist.

Thanks, Ram.

I have been looking at SAP Notes which is not of much help unfortunately for Collections Management.

I was hoping if anyone who has implemented CLM at their client came across the same issue can provide more insight.

Thanks,

Sri.

Hi Sri,

Can you check if you have activated index on table FDM_BW_INV_DELTA?

Something like below screens. It should say that the index exists in database.

Thanks

Amit

HI,

please check with the your abaper how it is takeing long time while runnning

take some reocrds in FM and execute it and same records test it in RSA3 and find the time.

how many records have in full load if huge volume of records give the filter creteria.

debug the data soruce at RSA3 help with the abaper.

if is the FDM_COLL_INVOICE_BW standard FM we can't change the FM.

Thanks,

Hi Sri,

  • Before initialization check first check data in RSA3 for the data source, if it has huge amount of data then do first init without for delta initialization.
  • It will do initialization successful immediately with single dummy record. Then by doing repairful update you can split data from ecc with data selection in infopackage level.

Thanks,

Hello Somesh,

Thanks for the reply. We have tried the steps that you have mentioned. The problem is the Performance with the extractor 0CLM_INVOICE which is based on the function module FDM_COLL_INVOICE_BW. This one has terrible performance issues. I was wondering if anyone who has implemented Collections Management faced the same issue.

Thanks,

Sri.

Hello Sri,
Due to large volume of data on BSAD (Accounting: Secondary Index for Customers (Cleared Items)) Table , the slow performance of extractor 0CLM_INVOICE continues to be an issue. There are several relevant oss notes that might help.
Check the below Notes

And also please in OSS for other notes using the search criteria:
OCLM_INVOICE
FDM_INVOICE_MEMORY
FDM_COLL_INVOICE_BW
Thanks,
Srinivas
