HA DR doubt

Hi Team,

I have a doubt,

Suppose we have 4 plus 1 node. DR can also be the same or else only 4 nodes right.

Now we have DR where we have log shipping enabled. Now suppose we have a failover in the primary where the standby node becomes active how will it affect the DR system. Since the topology of the primary and DR would be different right. How does the DR handle this.

Is this appliance specific or else independant of the appliance.

How are the experiences with HANA DR , log shipping is something which i have seen , how about others how are the experiences with others.
