MFBF and Special stock indicator

Hi

Iam using batch determination in MFBF. When batch determination happens then special stock indicator appears against selected bach.

If i manually put batch then it does not appear.

Please can you guide how to avoid it and why its coming

HI,

During batch determination, SAP follows certain rules such sort order, shelf life, etc and based on this, if the batch is available under special stock, the same is determined and special stock indicator is shown.  However, when you manually key in the batch, it appears that the same is not under special stock and hence no special stock indicator is appearing.

Please check and revert.

With this indicator it looks for special stock and if not found gives error.

Also Batch determination without badi preselection does not give special stock indicator

Please inform how to avoid it

Hi,

In MRP4 view - please check the REM profile.  REM profile will determine to call auto batch determination or not?

Select correct REM profile so that you can avoid auto determination of batches.
