Gateway Workflow Configuration OData

Hi

Just wanted to know which OData service is the correct one to configure workflows...

1. /sap/opu/odata/iwwrk/WFSERVICE;mo

or

2. /sap/opu/odata/IWPGW/TASKPROCESSING;mo

For generic workflow approvals, I used sap/opu/odata/IWPGW/TASKPROCESSING;mo and it was working.

I can see most if the entity types defined in both are similar. So is there any specific scenario where each one is used and what is the difference between those?

Hi Vidyadhar,

There are 2 services. Workflow service is for ABAP Business Workflow only. Task gateway can handles ABAP Business Workflow, BPM and custom provider.

Workflow Services - SAP NetWeaver Gateway - SAP Library

Task Gateway - SAP NetWeaver Gateway - SAP Library
