Project Management Self Service User

Hi all,

The Project Management Self Service user has less functionality than the full Project Management user.

Is it possible to assign all the normal Project Cost and Revenue reports to the PM Self Service user without affecting the 22 euro license cost?

Hi Kevin,

the licence cost depends on the assigned workcenter views, so in general if you can assign a given report to a workcenter view which is included in a specific licence, this will have NO effect on user costs. But every workcenter view has an access context and every report has it, you can only assign if access context are equal.

In this specific case the Project Cost and Revenue Report has access context Company and Project Management, the workcenter views of Project Team workcenter views has None or Project Participation.

So in this case it is not possible.

In general I recommend to buy the user licence which fits better to the process instead trying to reduce user licences at all costs. If you do not, in most cases customer will then have problems in daily work.
