Bex not connected

Hello.

Problem:

I logon without SAPROUTER in BW system

I try in BW system execute tr. RRMX

In Excel I see what Bex no connected to system BW

(in tr. SLG1 we can see error - in attachment slg1_error.jpg)

I installed SAPROUTER on application server BW

I logon with SAPROUTER in BW system.

I try in BW system execute tr. RRMX

In Excel I see what Bex succesfully connected to system BW

(in tr. SLG1 we can see OK - in attachment slg1_ok.jpg)

How i can fix problem?

HI,

if you use the router string your system it will connect any where.

you are using the router string and able to open the bex analyzer or designer.

with out router string we can connect the throuhgh VPN connection

you can use the router string or VPN connection as client provided.

This is right, but why not connected without saprouter ?

I want use direct connection to system.

Which difference for direct connection and connection thru saprouter (installed on same server) ?

PS: firewall on server side is off

Hi,

while working the project client will provide either VPN connection or ROUTERSTRING.

its depends client possiblities.

no diffrence using the VPN and router srting connection both will work same.
