CLT (Custom Language Tool)

Hi All,

I have a requirement to do translations on a existing add-on.

Does anyone know if the CLT coming with standard SAP will help me translate my add-on form titles, labels and buttons ?

Hi Brenden,

if it is your addon, why don't you provide the Translation from the addon?

I tried this clt in PL5. Once you activate the custom language in sbo, my addon will not start with the error unsupported language.

have never tried with newer version since.

Hi All,

I tried to use the language tool (CLT) and I messed up my SAP very badly.

Currently busy re-installing everything, because I keep getting the following error when opening my client:

I think I will rather go the route to translate my add-on labels and column captions via code.

Hi Brenden,

This might not the correct way, but if this is your own development, you might want to try remove the entry in SBO-COMMON.dbo.SLSC table.

See if this solve your error.

Hi Edy,

I actually went through the SBO-COMMON and found that table before and I removed the entry.

This had no effect on my error I am getting on the client. I even removed the SBO-COMMON but I get that same error when trying to run the Upgrade for SAP as well.

Any ideas ?

Hi All,

No uninstall works. The solution:

You need to remove the following folder:

C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Local\SAP

and re-install the client or just change the local machine user config. xml to another language.
