In CRM, is there a limit to size of attachments sent in email?

My customer is rolling out Complaint management and I wanted to verify what the inbound AND outbound attachment limit was for email but I cant find this infromation. Is there a standard limit for attachments size across CRM modules?

I think your question about outbound attachment size is answered here:

For inbound, I guess you should check your email server settings.
