Dear Experts ,
i need to know , how to write object dependency in the following scenario.
We have one of the material Axle in super BOM (Raw Material -brought out item)
Axle has different characteristic values.
Axle 100 T , Axle 200 T , Axle 300 T .
Necessary class and characteristics have been maintained..
Here selection of Axle will influence the same of the components which are
manufactured in in-house. How to write the object dependency so selection of axle will triger the right component selection which is produced in in-
house.
If customer selects Axle 100T .
Comp_1_A , Comp_1_B, comp_1_C should be picked .
Similarly for Axle 200 T (comp_2_A , Comp_2_B ,Comp_ 2_ C) and similar for Axle 300 T.
Attached screen shot id for reference.
How to write object dependency in this case..?
Hi.
The Dependency Object syntax depends on the structure of the BOM.
If the value of the characteristic on Customer Order is on Axle, may be you con write the following:
$ROOT.<id charatt.>='100T'
In this case the value of the charatteristic cames from the root of the BOM.

Hi Rizzi ,
Could you please explain me in detail.
In the above case , customer value is Axle , if customer selects Axle100T , comp_1_A , Comp_1_B,
Comp_1_C should be picked and similarly for Axle 200T and Axle 300T .
In this case how to maintain object dependency syntax for Axle100T and also for Components available in bracket assembly.
