User exit for mass asset master change substitution is not triggered

We created user exit for mass asset master change substitution in GGB1. When doing simulation in GGB1 is triggered, but when creating worklist and releasing it through AR31 is not. Also the substitution is activated in OA02. What could be missing?

Would you be able to attach the screen print of the Substitution here?

Did you mention any Limitation on the Transaction Code as prerequisite and running in Background mode or batch job? If yes..then please set an expert trace and Confirm back that the SY_TCODE Field is popoulating as "Blank".

We just created substitution in GGB1 in the AM - Master data mass change area without prerequisite and with substitution user exit, which just tests that is being called:

FORM u200.
   BREAK-POINT.
ENDFORM.

But when doing AR01, AR31 and releasing the worklist is not being called.

Hi,

Please give a try with some field for susbstitution in the User Exit.

Please have a look at the FM G_VSR_SUBSTITUTION_CALL . Also set the Expert Trace with the help of an ABAPer.

Thank you, after we put message in the user exit, I can see it in the error log of AR31. So seems to be working : )
