Copy component line in maintenance order

Hi all,

Is it possible to copy a component line in the maintenance order? (which creates a PR)

For example: I want to order 3 service which have a lot of simularities (for example the same material group, vendor,...)

Is there a way to copy the first line and then change entries to save time?

Its not the best option - but I use CTRL+Y and drag my cursor over all the fields and press CRTL+C (copy), then position my cursor on the next free line and press CRTL+P (paste)

Hi Laura,

There is no option to copy the component line in SAP PM.

One thing i can suggest is, if you have the details in a excel spread sheet, then you can copy and paste the data directly.

Also make sure, you give as below, i tried this, it was working fine and copied. since the description is copied from material master, i didnt give it in excel.

Once copied press enter, components will be updated.

If BOM is maintained for equipments, it will be easy to select the materials in one click.

Hi Laura,

I am not aware of a copy feature to duplicate the line, however you can use default values if you are frequently using the same information like purchasing group, material group, G/L Account etc..
