Change acc assign cat. in po

PO created with Acc assign Category blank, Now im trying to change it to F but getting the below error, kindly help

"Item initiated by other applic. (acct. assgt. category cannot be changed)

Message no. ME459  

PO is created with reference to contract with Kanban process. We have already received confirmation idoc for this from vendor.

What can I do to change acc. assign cat. F .  There is no GR or MIRO for this purchase order.

As pointed by Jurgen, Changing account assignment category is not possible once PO is created and saved.

Recommend approach in your case can be, Contract can be created with Account assignment U, then at time of creation release order (PO) system will force you to mention account assignment. You can change the values inside the account assignment tab, but changing the account assignment category is not an option.
