What's the Possible Risk of Cloning of SAP Batch Jobs (Same Program & TIme)

Hello experts,

Just wanted to double check with you. What are the possible RISK when cloning a SAP Batch job - means running same program at same time.

I tried to explore, but since my data is very less in the authorized box, it's troublesome for me to see the risk.

Hi,

it's an issu to run the same job at the same time. For entry lock reasons, ...

for example, it's current to have a job that run periodicly to send the IDoc. If this job run twice at the same time, you could have big problem on your server. To prevent this, you could add a step on your job with this program RSBTONEJOB. The job will be cancelled if a job with the same name run at the same time.
