How to add Formula Field from GF1 to a column in Cross-Tab

Hi,

I would like to take my formula field from my Group Footer 1 and add the result to a new column in my cross tab in my report header.

I have my cross tab row per employee and would like to display the overtime hours result per employee beside the Regular Hrs in a new column.

For a reason unknown I can't see my formula field in cross-tab. How can I display this result in crosstab.

For examples, see pictures attached.

Please let me know if you require more details.

Thank you very much for the help in advance.

Jocelyn

Hi Jocelyn,

Would you be able to send me the report with saved data please (File > Check Save Data with report)?

If you're trying to use the formula we created in your other post, then it won't work - there's another way out though. It is easier to work on a existing report.

Hi Abhilash,

Yes I am trying to use the formula we created in the previous post earlier.

I can't seem to be able to attache a report to this thread?

Is there another way?

Thanks

You may send it to my e-mail (the address is in my profile) or if you wish to attach it here, you would first need to change its extension from .rpt to .txt and click the 'use advanced editor' option in the reply window here.

Hi Abhilash,

Yes thank you this is the format I was looking for.

The only issue I can see with the overtime hours is if the regular hours are not over 44 hours, it currently shows a negative number of overtime hours. How can I display if regular hours are less then 44, then display 0, no negative number.

I have sent an example of the report to your email but this time with some new data with it showing the negative overtime hours. Also see screenshot below.

I really appreciate all your help on this.

Thank you
