Monitoring of the database using scripts metrics

Hi team,

Request you to please share some info regarding metrics choosen to monitor HANA database.

We want to monitor our hana database using scripts, can someone please share some info as to what all they have been monitoring and also metrics what have they choosen.

SQL: "HANA_Configuration_MiniChecks" (SAP Note 1969700) contains a set of monitored metrics including thresholds for "potentially critical" situations and references to SAP Notes (if available).

Those are the sql statements, so you incorporated the sql statements into a script and then monitored?

Yes, the Mini Checks are basically a collection of individual checks concatenated via UNION ALL. They can give you insight what should typically be monitored and how typical thresholds look like. You can take ideas from the Mini Checks for your own monitoring solution.
