Hi All,
I just want to clarify the steps you will need to upgrade the sql server (same server and instance) from 2008 to 2012 version for SAP V9.
1. Take backups of all databases
2. Upgrade SQL server from software download
3. Connect SAP client and test
I'm assuming there is no need to repoint SAP client etc. since its the same instance and automatically client connection will be upgraded? Also SQL native client gets upgraded automatically?
Thanks in advance
