Hi expert.
I have 2 questions I would like you to ask you .
1.Can I set a local member of the row dimension except the right-most one?
Let's say there are 5 dimensions in row axis, and I would like to add a local member
of the second dimension from the rightmost one.
I tried a lot of patterns to achieve this in vain.
It seems like the dimension that I can set a local member to is only the right-most one.
2.Can I set local member to the left-most column?
Let's suppose there is one dimension in row axis,
and I would like to set a EPMMemberProperty function to the right of that dimension members.
When I do so, the report will not recognize the column of EPMMemberProperty
I am suffered by above 2 issues.
Does anyone have good ideas to solve these?
Any help will be welcome
Thanks for your help
Regards
Takeshi
Hi Takeshi,
1. What do you mean by "Can I set a local member of the row dimension"? attached or what? Please provide some screenshots to explain requirements!
2. Easy, just look on the help sample (EPM help):
=EPMMemberProperty(, EPMDIM_CURRENT_MEMBER(P_ACCT), "Account type")
Attach it to column axis - before!

Hi Vadim
Thank you for your quick reply.
>>Please provide some screenshots to explain requirements!
Please have a look at the screenshot attatched.
>>Attach it to column axis - before!
I'm sorry, I described wrong situation.
I would like to set a EPMMemberProperty function to the LEFT of that dimension members.
Is that possible ?
Best regards
Takeshi
"I would like to set a EPMMemberProperty function to the LEFT of that dimension members." - no, this is not possible! But you can have another local member with EPMMemberProperty to show member ID after the first local member. In this case you can hide row axis column at all.
Unfortunately your picture is not clear... Local member is a single line and you are talking about some multiline range. What do you want to calculate is also not clear...
