sap ECC we are getting " Error when creating licence data error " in sm21 , while using function module for getting data .

Hi Experts

My scenario is proxy to jdbc . we are dynamically creating a sql_quary and sending using SAP PI  using one function module from SAP ECC system.

we are getting successfully resonance from target system to source system  but while checking in sm21 system logs are generating .

below is scree shot with details please help us to solve the issue .

Hi, have you solved this error? I have the same problem (sending IDOC from SAP ERP to SAP PI) and can not find the solution or justification.

Hello Milan,

Creation of license data is based on the role of a system (central Integration Server or Application System).

Please check the following:

1. In the PI central Integration Server client - Check trx SXMB_ADM -> Integration Engine Configuration -> Role of Business System. Ensure this is set to Integration Server.

Check the same location in the backend system. The "Role of Business System" may need to be set to Application System here.

2. In the SLD -> Business Systems -> Select the corresponding business system for the PI Integration Server and go to tab "Integration". Ensure this is set to "Integration Server"
