Dear All,
Can you please provide us with the documentation that would help us set up automation for the Approver work center.
In other words, today employees are loaded into C4T with a default role Traveler. We would like to also add another default role, ‘Approver’ . Is that possible?

Hi,
if you want to assign additional roles to an employee, you have to implement the BAdI OTM_EMPL_BUSINESS_ROLES. Documentation for the BAdI is available in the system.
The BAdI belongs to the enhancement spot OTM_EMPLOYEE_REPLICATION which contains all BAdIs relevant for the employee replication.

Here is what we have implemented...
But first I have to mention that we are using SAP HR and the replication of Reporting Line Units (RLU) into CfTEas we are not using cost center responsibles
1) Approval rights
What we do In HR-OM is setitng up the position as Head of Organizational Unit (PPOME or PP01) The position gets then red instead of purple
Then after the replication of RLU and Employee, the employe linked to this position gets the approval rights automatically without any BAPI, BADI, Idoc Modification
2) Approval process
After that, in our case we needed a process to set up amount authorization level depending on the approver
To do this we have created both sames groups
+ in ECC under Infotype 17 (field PTZUO)
+ In CfTE the same naming convention group ( under Fine Tune--»Expense Reporting -->Expense Reimbursing groups--»Approval Process)
We are then sending these groups to Cloud from IT17 during employee replication using the same Andreas Badi OTM_EMPLOYEE_REPLICATION (with OTM_EMPL_TRAVEL_POLICIES)
