SAPHCM PCR to Carry forward Time Quota Balances

Dear Experts,

My problem is my Time Quota Balances are not carry forwarding for the next year.  our Time Management is Time evaluation without clocktimes  - 9.  every year in Jan we run Pt60 for al the employees so the new quota is being automatically updated in IT2006.  but previous year balance is not getting carry forwarded. in this year.

Last Year                    utilized              Balance

16                                  8                        8              

This year                                                Balance

16              +              8                                  24, but it is showing 16 only.

It should be as above.  but it is not happening.  I have checked Quota Generation Config steps.  I found everything is OK.

Second problem is i kept Max Limit of the quota 90.  but sometimes it is showing on the payslib beyond 90 i.e. 110.

The above 2 problems i am facing.  in my TM04 schema 2 Pcrs for Quota Balance and carryforward are there.  But i could not understand whether the PCRs are correct or not.

Could any one please help me.  Its very urgent.  It has been a bigger problem,  without which we can not do FF settlements to the Employees and Encashments of ELs.  Your early response is highly appreciated.

Give  999 in Relative Position

Rajesh,

If i keep relative position 999 it will never end deduction interval, i understand.  can u please give me the meaning of keeping 999.  Bcoz still its showing the 110 quota balance.  which is beyond my limit of 90 Max. Entitlement.  can u give me any pcr to restrict the quota accrual that should stop the quota accrual if its beyond 90 it should show 90.

lets assume

means :  1st year   35

              2nd year   35

              3rd year 35

      in 4th year  if its 35+35+35+35 =  140 - only 90 should be cfwd.

my requirement is what ever the previoys year balance it should be carryforwarded,  but 90 is my max limit.

Ya Leela Mohan,

But in my project i am using only Quota type as HRS=FR30L. No where we are using the Time Type to carry the balances.  is there any solution to directly carry forward the quota balance by using HRS operation.

Its very urgent for me.  and also max limit 90 should be kept.  Please give me such a pcr and also tell me how insert them in TM04  schema.

I don't think so quota will be updated by without passing the value into time type....!

Because

1st PCR:

HRS=FR10C

ADDDB1111

2PCR:

HRS=1111(Time Type)

HRS?90

      Total of the remaining quota to the key date of all


P    personnel assignments currently being processed

      is retrieved from the absence quota infotype (2006)

Dear Aruna,

As per my knowledge, You won't be able to carry forward your quotas if its not collected in time types, However, if you have the balances then you can update it by infotype 2013(Quota corrections). First you allocate the quotas for this particular year and then update 2013 with the last year balances.

You can set the maximum limit of the quotas in table V_T559L in total entitlement.

Dear Leela Mohan,

what is FR30L, i dont know.  actually my abap programmer is also unable to pull the particular field.   they have used hrs=fr30L  (Absence quota balance as per IT2006 i assumed.  i dont know where exactly it is there in IT2006.   don't think otherwise,  actually the thing is i am using time types for day balances and period balances so as per Mr. woody's doc i've created pcrs and inserted in schema.  now its working fine up to quota carryforward but not maintaining the Maximum Limit of 90.  Beyond 90 Limit also it is accruing. 

So please share me any pcr to restrict the quota accrual beyond 90.

My requirement is Yearly Quota accrual is 16.  Maximum Entitlement is 90.  I hope you understand.

For 1st Problem

Go through below PCR

10 is Absence Quota

1111 is time type

1st PCR to read yearend Quota balance

2nd iPCR to Update the Quota.

Just remove this below mentioned part and once again rerun

insert these pcrs as below

actio  zm02

quota

p2006 zm01

if we want call perticular quota then use p2006 function  orelse we can use actio

second problem

  we follow as per ravi kumar

           or

   we  can maintain constant table , the remaining balance  comparision with constant value as per scenario

Hi,

For 2nd problem  Go to V_T559L

Choose your grouping  maintian Total Entitlement as 90 days.

For 1st Problem

Go through below PCR

10 is Absence Quota

1111 is time type

1st PCR to read yearend Quota balance

2nd iPCR to Update the Quota.

Place the PCR in Schema After the Quota funtion.

if the requiremnt is 2 or more absence quotas need to carry forward on conditional base, for that time this operation will helpful.
