BPC 10 - User Profile Settings

Hello folks,

How do we set the profile settings for users, here is an example scenario....

USER A - UK

USER B - ASIA

USER C - USA

USER D - CANADA

When the users logs on the BPC 10 every time, they should be pointing to specific Model / intersection based on their security. How do we configure this settings. When I researching this issues, I was told the there is a XML file thru which we can configure the user profile settings...

Hi Syed,

first of all rember to close the "old threads", i.e. the solved threads, assigning the "correct answer", if you find the solution yourself you can add the solution marking your answer as "correct", in this manner the forum can help also other users with the same issue to found quickly a solution.

Bpc doesn't use xml file for profile setting but SQL tables, like

Profiles

tblUsersTeams

UserProfile

UserTeamAssign

UserTeamProfileAssign

I don't have bpc now so maybe I forgot some table

You have to create several m.a.p., one for every nation dim assigning the related user\team to it.

Normally I assign the m.a.p. to the teams so I.'m sure that all the users of the same team have the same security profile.
