How to increase Length Of Standard Link In SAP CRM WebUI?

Hi All,

I have a little critical requirement from my client. They want to change the name "Interaction Log" and make it "customer visit,dealer visit, customer contact, market news etc.". When I tried to do that in <CRMC_UI_PROFILE> or <CRMC_UI_NBLINKS>, I found that the system is not allowing me to enter more than 30 characters.

Can you please let me know how can I increase the character length of the link? Please reply ASAP as the client is behind me.

Before starting to enhance any components you should try to rename the underlying text element. See the following blog for an explanation on how to do this:

This field is coming from the standard table crmc_ui_wc_t table, but i do not think you can enhance this field length.
