Exam code for SAP BW HANA Certification

Hello Gurus,

I am SAP BW Consultant , I want to go for SAP HANA ( BI ) certification. Can you please share some information regarding this ?

I would like to know the exam code relevant for SAP BI HANA certification. I would be good if there are some study materials for the same code.

To start your HANA journey, you can check OPENSAP hana contents and HA100 guide.

Hi Amruta,

To write the certification on BW powered by HANA, we should write SAP BW 7.4 certification as per-requisite. Then you can write SAP BW powered by HANA. This what we have done in our Company.

Also note that SAP will allow to write exam when you have one year work experience in SAP BW 7.4.

Hi Daniel,

The latest version is C_HANAIMP151 for HANA Certified Application Associate and does not have a pre-requisite. The pre-requisite is for E_HANABW141 and is for BW powered by HANA. Since you want to focus on HANA, C_HANAIMP151 will do you good.

Thanks a lot for the reply Ganapathy. However, I have the below doubts. Can you please update. Appreciate it.

1) I am new to HANA and as my current experience is in SAP BI.... I guess C_HANAIMP141 will help me more as its HANA certification for SAP BI Consultants. Is it not true ? But as BW certification is mandatory for this. I can drop this and go for C_HANAIMP151. Correct ?

2) what is the main difference between C_HANATEC151 and C_HANAIMP151. I mean what is the main difference between technology associate and application associate.

3) Will C_HANAIMP151 have only the modelling skills of HANA and does it have any ABAP /stored procedures testing skills.I guess my best option will be C_HANAIMP151 for my experience as there is no per-requisite for this. Correct ?

4) I am seeing a lot of dump for these exams online, where they are selling. Can we trust and buy these dumps. I mean will that be useful at all.

Any experts please advise these. Many thanks in advance.

Daniel,

1. C_HANAIMP141 is the older version and current is C_HANAIMP151 and you can head straight for C_HANAIMP151.

2. C_HANATEC151 is for HANA Administration, maintaining and designing HANA architecture. Whereas HANAIMP151 is for Modeling and Implementation

3. HANAIMP151 content is covered in 4 modules

    HA100 - Introduction to HANA

    HA300 - Modeling and Implementation

    HA360 - HANA modeling techniques with examples

    HA900 - SAP HANA Live

  HA300 has a unit on SQL Script and Stored Procedures - The exam is a multiple choice one and a basic understanding should be good however SQL Script is essential for any HANA implementations

4. That's a tricky one, SAP does not suggest to rely on these dumps and they may not be trustworthy.

A good understanding of HANA modeling and being hands on with the system would help you clear the exam.

Being a BI consultant, you should be able to clear this exam without much ado. I would suggest to get a SAP Learning Hub Subscription (if you have the means as the subscription is quite expensive) and within a month you should be able to give the exam. OpenSAP has some courses on HANA and that should help you as well

Hi Former Member,

The BW on HANA certification is E_HANABW141(SAP Certified Application Specialist (Edition 2014) - SAP BW powered by SAP HANA).

The certification material code is BW362.I am afraid you might not be getting any examination material here in SDN as it is against the policy.Please contact SAP Education for that.

Also, please note that In order to be eligible to take this exam you have to have passed on of the following certification exams: SAP BW 7.3 certification (C_TBW55_73) or SAP BW 7.4 certification (C_TBW60_74,Under development) or SAP BW 7.3 professional certification (P_BIE_73).

Please assist me finding the difference and which one I should select.

Hi Rajesh,

Best to always take the latest edition.

First 2 digits are the year. Last digit is the version. So 141 is 2014 version 1, and 142 is 2014 version 2.

Please go through HA100 and HA 300 and it is more than enough to clera the exam,

Plesae have a look at HA350.. dont spnd too much time in this,
