SAP - SRM - MDM - OCI mapping transport

Hi Experts,

we are working on SAP SRM with MDM for catalogs.

We have to change OCI mappings (to map a new MDM field to be transfered to shopping cart).

I found where these changes have to be done to change OCI mappings.

I have only 2 questions here, if someone has experienced these.

1) We see that there are 5 "customer fields" in OCI.

It is possible to add more customers fields ? (for exemple 5 more) Or it is limited to 5 fields maximum ?

2) How the changes have to be transported ?

I see there is a button to transport configuration. and when clicing on button I see "export" and "import" options.

Are the transports done by doing export/import of the xmls ?

Thanks .

Any kind of help is welcome

Hi. Newbie.

MDM give you the option to create more custom field. Five is the content standard. but you can include new fields.

About the second question. MDM work with version, the recomendation is export the actual version before to import the new version. In this way you have a back up.

MDM work with files xml/xsd. in this way the system take the new changes.

Kindly regards.
