Hi Experts,
Need your help.
We tried to schedule a Analysis workbook created on BEx query and got below errors.
1. "An error occurred: could not precalculate instance {0}"
2. "unexpected exception caught. Reason: [Java.lang.IndexOutOfBoundsExceptionIndex:0,Size:0]
We are on
SAP BI 4.1
Analysis Office 1.4
Please help me on this.
Thanks,
Rajendra
Hi Rajendra,
Check SAP note 2134836 - Checklist for Scheduling of Analysis for Office Workbooks.
It will help you on this case.
Remember that we have some precalculation restrictions for the following workbook settings and elements:
And also the following prerequisistes must be met for the installation:

Hi Diego,
According to PreCalculations-Restricitons, The A-Office workbook should "Comply" with Precalculation Restrication else scheduling will fail..Correct?
Cause i am seeing the same situation, i have macros, formulas created in another sheet(Say Sheet 2) referencing the Bex query data in another sheet (say Sheet 1).
when i scheduled the A-office it is getting successful, but when i open the successful instance it still it showing the saved data only, not the refreshed data-set and all the calculations are showing the same old values.
Is there any workaround to fix this?
Hi rajendra,
we are facing the same problem too.
but in our case, if you add the user to Administrator group, scheduling is working fine.
I posted the question in SCN.pls check it.If SAP suggested the solution pls post.
