Manage historically check box in asset master data

Dear Experts,

I have read the following thread concerning check box manage historically in asset master data ( AS01 😞

In addition I have pressed F1 on this check box and the following sentence is confusing me:

• The asset and the values/transactions belonging to it cannot be reorganized until the asset is deactivated.

I would be grateful if you could kindly explain me the above sentence, and let me know for what goal selecting this check box is required and not selection it would have what consequences.

Hi Rakesh,

It means once the asset deactivates then you cannot find any transactions relating to the asset in the report AR01.
