Deductions in Travel Management

Hello,

I have a question regarding deductions in Travel Management. Is it possible to set deduction like this: every individual meal is 10%, two meals 50%, three meals 100%? Currently, system gives possibility to customize percentage for each meal, but when two meals are selected, system summarizes it. In my case this is wrong, since I get 20% instead of 50%.

Thank you and kr,

Jasminka

Hello Jasminka,

how a traveler can have more than one meal?

The system is working with 3 scenarios:

Breakfast

Meal/Lunch

Dinner

For this you can specify different percentages,

Hello Siegfried,

in the system you can set percentages for each of the meals (for example breakfast-20%, lunch 50%, dinner 30%) and when you select breakfast+lunch system counts 70%, when you select breakfast+dinner system calculates 50%. In my case, individual meals are ok, but combination of the meals is different. What I need is the following:

- breakfast 10%

- lunch 10%

- dinner 10%

- breakfast + lunch 50%

- breakfast + dinner 50%

- lunch + dinner 50%

- breakfast + lunch + dinner 100%

Hi Jasminka,

sorry I guess this is not possible.

At least not via configuration.

Can I please ask you where this come from?

Is this a legal requirement from a country set up?

Best regards, Sigi

Hello,

this is customer specific requirement, and legally it is ok. This is for Croatian customer.

Hi Jasminka,

from a system philosophy this is not foreseen.

A breakfast counts always the same - does not matter what I eat at lunch.

What is the thinking behind this reduction structure?

At the end I guess there is no exit to implement this logic.

In terms of using configuration, yes, but:

- It might still be possible to maintain some dummy-entries for the deduction table T706A and hard-read them via RPREX000.

- If that doesn't work out cleanly, there's still BADI REDUCT_TRIP_AMOUNT where you can calculate everything yourself.

- If both fails, you can venture through the gates of  "Abandon all customizing, ye who enter here" and use BADI AFTER_TRIP_SETTLEMNT

Cheers, Lukas
