Hi Vamshi Krishna,

Its all depends on your business type, Any how below details will helps you to do needful in general RE business.

In REFX Master data will be as below.

Business Entity ( About the location of the property)

Building/ Land ( Building / land name)

Rental object ( to which Object House / plot  we are paying rent / lease/ sales  - Contains all details like address / validity details /  measurements of the property / profit centre / cost centre / facilities provided like furnitures / usage types / currently occupied or not / if any meters Like water / gas / electricity ...etc)

Contracts ( Explains about the Type of contract like residential / commercial / sales / customer / vendor / validity details / cost / profit centers / any taxes like TDS( With holding tax )  / Service taxes / business area / rent or other charges / month ...etc.

Adding of SAP REFX module with BI/BO is definitely an add-on to the busines especially to get the MIS reports at minute level which will be helping the management wrt to past / future analysis of the business as well as adopting the market trends to the actual.

You can provide some reports as well as dash boards to the business by considering the below points.

Type of business / Number of properties / Residential / commercial /Lease in / Lease out / RE Sales (Scenario wise ) /Occupancy ratio of the properties & current status of properties like occupied / or not, if not how long it’s been kept for idle( Based on this sales/marketing team will do needful to promote ) / frequency of the occupancy for each property…..

Measurements of the properties (in SQ feet’s) / chargeable area / carper area / Total area / build up area / ..etc

Unit price for square feet /contract / property wise / city wise / project wise/ comparing the same with some analytics based on the market trends …etc.

Based on your business you can do this at minute level by considering the type of properties like villas / Residential apartments / furnished / not / and gettinmg the unit price at squarefeet level and comparing the same with market standard prices ....etc.

WRT to financials of the same you can get some reports like Expenses or  revenue as per the accruals / deferals /actual payment receipts / pending payments / vendor wise ...repeated custimers ...

Also you can do some analysis by comparing the previous year’s data as well as planning for future trends…..etc. You can do a lot more for RE.

Try to refer the below links which will helps you a lot towards getting the master data WRT to RE & BI Linkage.
