Dear All,

regarding the Chapter "Generate keystore and certificate for SAP BO BI4.0" on topic report below :

     http://bobi.blog.com/2014/04/12/sap-administrationhow-to-setup-sso-against-sap-bw-with-sap-bo-bi4-0-...

In a BI4.1 Cluster Do I have to make a certificate for each Server ?

And afterwards Do I have to load all these certificates in SAP BW ?

Best Regards,

MJ

You need it on the adaptive processing server, where the "Security Token Service" runs.   The security token service is responsible for the certificate generation.

Greg, As I understood it we load the pk12 file into the CMS DB via the SAP plugin and the cert to BW via STRUSTSSO2. After that the files are no longer needed locally on the servers, is that correct? One pk12 file for the CMS is all that's needed and one cert for the BW systems (same cert for all connected BW systems).

Hi Josh, yes you're totally right.  The cert is stored in the CMS repository, encrypted.   My mistake there.
