Hi,
I'm uploading classification for materials, at the end of the process I'm getting the message:
Maintain Classification Data
Error Changing Classification Data
Class Error
( CLAP_DDB_UPDATE_CLASSIFICATION: exception 24 )
The exception 24 refer to this error: mtart_not_exist
but is not true, my material has a mtart in MARA that exists.
I cannot understand what kind of error is.
Thanks
Best Regards
Hi,
Program documentation states:
Error changing classification data
Other
( CLAP_DDB_UPDATE_CLASSIFICATION: exception 24 )
001 12345678 CLASS_2
This error message occurs for materials (class type 001) if an incorrect description (e.g. no leading zeros) is entered. If the input parameters do not define a separate existence check, the classification for this material does not find a material type, and this leads to an error.
have you checked if mtrls should have leading zeros and if you give them with leading zeros in your input file?
Best Regards,
Tomek

Hi,
A bit late, but it could help someone.
I have had the same error. The reason was that I enabled "Multiple objects allowed" on group class 001 for table MARA (because I wanted to activate change logs on classification for materials).
In LSMW, I was using program RCCLBI03 (object : classification / direct input).
I had to fill the field BIKSSK-OBTAB with MARA (the table of the object that got the flag
"Multiple objects allowed" enabled.
