Crystal Reports 2008 V1 SP5 - Java 7, Tomcat 7 and 64-bit

We've got Crystal Reports 2008 V1 SP5 running with Java 6.0.45 with Tomcat 6.0.37 32-bit.  We've encountered some issues with the 32-bit Tomcat and Java 6.  Recently we couldn't disable SSLv3.  Apparently that is limited by the 32-bit version and/or Java 6.

Will Crystal Reports 2008 V1 SP5 work with:

  1. Java 7
  2. Tomcat 7
  3. Tomcat 64-bit (6 or 7)

We are running on Windows Server 2008 64-bit R2 6.1

Hi Paul,

You would be able to find your answers regarding the supported versions from the Product availability matrix for CR Server 2008 SP5 at

Hi Paul,

Moved your post to the Java SDK forum.

CR 2008 is 32 bit only, no 64 bit runtime for it so Tomcat would need to be run in 32 bit mode only.
