Unable to Copy Environment Shell in SAP BPC 10.0 NW

Hi All,

I am unable to create new environment shell and getting below error.

Please help me on this.

Hi,

Can you see any failed job from SM37 related to Copy.

          Check while copying the environment any special characters  and clarify the options you had selected  (records to copy ).......

Is the issue resolved ? What is the correct answer ? Is it Name Space setting in SE06 ?

Hey Zeenath,

as i wrote above, i faced the same issue like the the original poster (Honey Bee) and could resolve the problem by changing the Name Space setting in SE06 as Raju explained.

Hi Raju,

You can Use underscore in naming of new Environment. Check the name space setting.

Hi,

Check Namespace access from back end:

1.Go to transaction SE06 and choose System Change Option.

2.Make sure that the BPC Addon is set to Restricted Modifiability.

3.Set the namespaces and software components to Modifiable.

Hi,

Goto SM37 , select Job status as Canceled  and run with current date.
